Climbing Ropes Course
The military and some organizations have ropes courses. Ropes courses promote team building and problem solving. Corporations and government go to a ropes course for team building activity.
If you are new to climbing, a ropes course is a great idea. It will allow you to have someone there help you while you are learning the ropes (ha ha).
Many people feel fear an anxiety the first time they tackle a ropes course. These feelings can be strong team builders if the participants overcome them and work together to complete the course.
Ropes courses come in varying heights and difficulties. Some courses are as tall as a telephone pole and others are only 10-12 feet off the ground. In addition, some courses pose group problems to be overcome like zig zags, rope exchanges, and key ladders.
